EDD 705 - Education Policies

This course provides a critical exploration of education policies and their impact on equity, diversity, and social justice across local, state, and national contexts. Students will examine the historical, political, economic, and cultural forces that shape policy development and implementation, as well as the implications of policy decisions for curriculum, pedagogy, leadership, and systemic change. Through engagement with policy analysis frameworks and comparative perspectives, students will assess how policies either advance or constrain transformative education.
