AT 631 - Integration of Evidence Base Practice: Case Study

This course is designed to develop advanced skills in clinical case study development and scholarly writing within the context of athletic training practice. Students will learn to identify meaningful clinical experiences, collect and synthesize patient-centered data, and apply evidence-based practice principles to analyze assessment, intervention, and outcomes. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, clinical reasoning, ethical considerations, and clear professional writing aligned with standards for publication and professional dissemination. By the end of the course, students will produce a comprehensive, well-structured athletic training case study suitable for presentation, portfolio inclusion, or submission to a peer-reviewed professional outlet.
