AT 670 - Orthopedic Assessment (Upper Extremity and Ortho-spine)

This course examines clinical pathology and pathophysiology the musculoskeletal system specifically within the upper extremity and spine. The application of evidence-based differential diagnosis and clinical decision-making will be emphasized. Students analyze patient-reported outcomes, health informatics, and diagnostic studies to guide care, modify treatment plans, and support preventive strategies. The course fosters critical thinking, diagnostic reasoning, and higher-order skills in evaluation and synthesis, preparing students to apply knowledge beyond traditional diagnoses.
