BIO 221 - General Microbiology

An integrated laboratory and classroom course which looks at both the morphological as well as the physiological nature of microorganisms and their relation to both the normal and the diseased state in humans. Bacteriological techniques such as staining, identification and cultivation will be emphasized. Offered: Spring.

Prerequisites One of the following: BIO 103/BIO 103L, BIO 104/BIO 104L, BIO 107/BIO 117L or permission of the instructor
