BIO 440 - Biodiversity Biodiversity explores the origins, ecology, and richness of one of the earth’s natural capital, from the level if biological species through ecosystems. The value and uses of nature’s capital and their exploitation will be examined. The course reviews conservation strategies to maintain biodiversity for future generations. This course provides students with the scientific literacy necessary to make informed decisions about topics such as species conservation, and ecosystem management.
Prerequisites BIO 103 /BIO 103L & BIO 104 /BIO 104L Credits: 3
