CHE 320 - Environmental Toxicology

Examines historical and recent toxicological issues facing our society. Topics will include a survey of the diverse chemical hazards encountered in the environment and a practical understanding of the complex effects on human health and the health of species occupying various ecosystems. Students will gain a basic understanding of the bichemical mechanisms for detaxifying xenobiotic compounds.
