EGR 480 - Engineering Capstone Design I
The first of two courses spanning the fourth year of all engineering programs. Students will work in teams of three to five on “real” issues and projects. The projects will be derived and sponsored by industry partners, faculty researchers, or student-based entrepreneurial ventures. In this part of the course, teams will gather background information about the project from stakeholders, define the problem, ideate several possible solutions, and then settle on one design idea to move forward with in EGR 481.
