MAT 101 - Survey of Mathematics
Survey of modern concepts of mathematics. Topics include set theory, logic, mathematical system, systems of numeration, counting methods, probability and statistics. Fulfills the general education requirement for non-math or non-science students. Students may not take both MAT 105 and MAT 101 for credit. MAT 101 does not fulfill the Education requirement, all Education majors need to take MAT 105 .
Prerequisites Satisfactory score on Mathematics Placement Test.
