MAT 230 - Calculus I

This course is an introduction to limits, derivatives, and integrals. Topics include continuity, the definition of the derivative, fundamental differentiation rules, optimization problems, related rates, indefinite and definite integrals of polynomials, trigonometric functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, as well as integration by substitution. Prerequisite: MAT 131 or satisfactory score on the Mathematics Placement Test.
