MAT 250 - Discrete Mathematics This is an introductory mathematics course designed to prepare computer science majors for more advanced study. Topics include formal logic, methods of proof, basic set theory, functions, sequences, summations, recurrence relations, mathematical induction, elementary number theory, counting principles, and elementary graph theory. Pre-requisite: MAT 131 or a satisfactory score on the Mathematics Placement Test.
