OT 325 - Pathology for OT Practitioners


Within the context of this course, students will examine pathophysiological dysfunctions that interfere with an individual’s ability to engage and participate in meaningful occupation. Conditions will be framed within the context of the World Health Organization’s International Classification of Function, and the effects of such conditions on an individual’s occupational performance, performance skills, and performance factors. Additional emphasis will be placed on diagnostics, etiology, progression, performance deficits, intervention, prognosis and functional outcomes.
