SSC 310 - Cultural Geography I Examines major realms of the developed world: Western/Eastern Europe, the Soviet Union, Australia/New Zealand and Japan. Special combinations of cultural, physical, historical and organizational qualities of these realms are discussed in a geographical perspective. Emphasis is given to the study of these characteristic properties and how they imprint on the landscape, giving each region its own flavor and social environment. This course fulfills the human diversity graduation requirement.
