EXS 420 - ECG Interpretation and Pharmacolog

This course is designed to provide students with the basic knowledge of the structure and function of the heart and circulatory system. Students will understand the electrical and mechanical events of the cardiac cycle, as well as develop an understanding of heart and circulatory diseases and conditions. Additionally, students will interpret ECG data and interpret normal and abnormal heart rhythms and artifacts. Finally, this course will provide students with basic understanding of the interaction between exercise and pharmacological agents.
