AT 520 - AT Clinical Practicum I This course includes didactic lecture and the practical application of clinical skills via formal clinical education. Students will meet for 3 hours of lecture each week. Students spend a minimum of 200 hours and maximum 320 hours working with a preceptor at the university’s facilities or an affiliated site. Major foci for this clinical experience include: 1) Evaluation and immediate care of lower extremity injuries, 2) the selection and application of foundational clinical techniques, and 3) an exposure to male and female (individual and team sports).
