OT 605 - Research Design


Exploration of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies used in occupational therapy, and critical evaluation of published research in the field. Students will define an area of interest, identify a clinical scenario around that idea, and complete critical appraisals of current literature on that topic. By the end of the course, students will solidify their clinical question to further investigate in the continuation course OT 620 .

Prerequisites
  • OT majors only
  • MAT 208 or equivalent, OT 607 , OT 482 or OT 587 
  • or permission of the Department Chair.
