HCS 306 - HIT Organization & Installation This course prepares the health professional student to participate in the organization, services, and delivery of health care and public health in the U.S. The student will study job expectations in healthcare settings, payment systems, relevant organizations, interrelationships, professional roles, and ethical, legal, and regulatory issues. Throughout the course, the health professional student will practice medical and basic computing terminology, meaningful use, value-based care, health-related data structure, software selection, health information security, and usability concepts.
