HCS 307 - HIT Administrative Applications

This course prepares the health professional student to analyze data mobility, hardware infrastructure, workflow process, redesign, validation, and change management. The student will participate in a HIT culture supporting quality and safety, reporting through electronic systems, registries, epidemiological databases, and bio-surveillance specific U.S. health care and public health. Throughout the course, the student will develop the necessary skills to communicate effectively across the full range of roles that will be encountered in healthcare and public health settings.
