Special Permission Required During Sophomore Status in HCS Program Admission: The ST Program student admission is the responsibility and at the discretion of the Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences. Sophomore level HCS students must meet qualifications, apply, and be fully accepted into the ST Program prior to permission being granted to enter the HCS/ST 3/2 Track. Refer to Surgery Technology section of Alvernia University Undergraduate Catalog and the Reading School of Health Science’s Student Catalog/Website. Students in the HCS ST Track will receive a Bachelor of Science in HCS from Alvernia and a Certificate in Surgery Technology that allows professional licensure from RHSHS.
