NUR 410 - Nursing in Health and Illness IV: Adult & Geriatric Clients


This course addresses changes that accompany the aging process and relates these changes to adult human responses to selected health problems. Students apply the nursing process to complex health problems, integrating knowledge of nursing research, ethical-legal issues, and economics as they influence client health outcomes. The course presents concepts and applications for adults in later life, including grief and loss, palliative care, and death and dying. Three classroom hours and 108 clinical practice hours.
