OT 410 - Adult II- Neuro-Rehabilitation in OT This course examines diseases of, or injury to, the nervous system and the resultant effect on occupational performance, life satisfaction, and client well-being. Procedures for screening and assessment will be examined and applied, and current evidence-based interventions discussed. Key constructs include activity and role performance, functional cognition, pain management techniques, and learned nonuse. In addition to lecture content, practice and performance skills will be developed and reinforced during weekly laboratory sessions and refined during level I fieldwork.
