MAT 352 - Cryptography This course provides an introduction to the basic concepts and techniques of cryptography, the science of secure communication. Students will learn the historical development of cryptography, the basic principles of encryption and decryption, and the modern cryptographic protocols used in various applications. Specific topics covered in the course include modular arithmatic, elementary ciphers, and public key cryptography.
