EE 471L - Control Systems Laboratory Block diagrams and signal flow graphs. Feedback systems. Time and frequency responses. State-space models. Stability. Root locus. Bode and Nyquist diagrams. Lead, lag, and lead-lag compensators. Introduction to digital control systems. The laboratory will include measurement techniques and the use of electrical instrumentation for the measurement of a variety of electrical parameters.
The laboratory assignments complement the lecture course, EE 421 , which must be taken as a prerequisite or concurrently.
