MED 643 - Total Experience Learning Field Experience, Total Experience Learning® Institute


This course is designed to fully immerse participants in an active Total Experience Learning® (TExpL®) environment. The experience will provide participants with the opportunity to participate in the application of TExpL® with students and seasoned mentors. This course will prepare participants to be competent, successful and enthusiastic TExpL® professionals. The course will include a metacognition aspect to reflect upon, adapt and improve the TExpL® curriculum, lesson plans, project management and development systems and equipment acquisition processes. Participants will experience, create and manage a Total Learning Experience® classroom environment that includes industry-related tools and technology: evaluation, acquisition, management, safety analysis, funding and grant development, equitable access planning for equipment and facility compatibility, community-business-industry correspondence and resource agreements, and long-term interdisciplinary application. Participants will support students in creating goals and success criteria to support creative, inventive and innovative solution development that relates to current industry needs and yield high impacts with student academic achievement.
